Our Story

Some buildings seem to be made for hosting unforgettable events, whether it’s a wedding, private party, or corporate event. Union Mills Public House is one of these incredible buildings that is steeped in history, reimagined in elegance, and full of inspiration around every corner.

Starting in the late 1800’s, the building housed a factory that made women’s hosiery and men’s shirts. The factory managed to thrive through major challenges, including World Wars, the Spanish flu pandemic and local evolution. This historic building has stood the test of time and is a part of the history and charm that Downtown has to Frederick offer.

Niko and Mary decided bring their vision of a beautiful, one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue to this location as it’s a major part of Frederick’s historical charm. They’ve created the best place in Downtown Frederick to celebrate life’s biggest moments with family and friends along Carroll Creek. History meets elegance in the building’s walls, and we invite you to be part of it all.
